A.D.A. M. Challenge

THANK YOU for your interest in supporting our A.D.A.M. (Awesome Dads Awesome Men) Fatherhood Mentorship Program, currently in its 12th year.

Our A.D.A.M. program helps fathers improve their parenting and communication skills and provides new, experienced, and single fathers a platform to speak to each other, obtain help becoming better fathers, foster healthier relationships with their children, and develop successful co-parenting strategies. Additionally, the A.D.A.M. program offers an array of wraparound services to address barriers that hinder a father's ability to be fully present and engaged.

"Approximately 1 in 4 children under 18 live in a home without a resident father. These children are more likely to:

• Exhibit behavioral problems
• Drop out of school
• Abuse drugs and alcohol
• Commit crimes, and
• Go to prison

In contrast, children with involved fathers are at a lower risk of poor childhood outcomes. An involved father improves his child's overall emotional and social well-being, and the child is less likely to be mistreated."
